2012 Pacific Cup
CARHA Hockey will be welcoming 134 adult recreational hockey teams in 20 divisions to arenas across Victoria this coming weekend for the 35th annual Pacific Cup. Teams from Canada and the U.S. will be making the trip from January 20-22, 2012.
Games will start on Friday morning with finals wrapping up on Sunday afternoon. Thirteen rinks across Victoria will be taking part in the sold out event. Admission to games is free for all spectators.
The CARHA Hockey Pacific Cup provides a major source of off-season tourist activity in Victoria with 21 host hotels and over $1 million in expected economic activity in the region over the weekend. The event is the first of four CARHA Hockey Provincial tournaments held on an annual basis.
