CARHA Hockey

Reach Up! for youth mental health.

Youth mental health has been a focus of concern in Canada recently. All provinces have seen a rise in teen suicide and youth depression. In February Reach Up! For Youth Mental Health ran a successful gala event and a Bantam Hockey Tournament that was hosted with the help of the Kanata Minor Hockey Association. All proceeds were being directed to the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre to help support two new youth counselors who are joining the staff there. As a direct result of sponsors and supporters like CARHA Hockey, the gala and tournament raised $13,500.00 for this cause.
