Bidding starts for 2016
The Official Bid Process for the 2016 CARHA Hockey World Cup will begin October 3, 2012. Held every four years in a select Canadian City, this event attracts participants from all across Canada, the United States and Europe.
From March 4 - 11, 2012 the CARHA Hockey World Cup was hosted in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario where the week-long event witnessed over 2500 participants (115 teams from 13 countries) take over the City’s hotels, arenas, bars and restaurants resulting in an economic impact of $13.3 million.
Should your City or Community be interested in receiving a copy of the Official Bid Guidelines, please contact Reuben Greenspoon. Please note that one copy per community will be distributed. Therefore, we strongly advise that a collaborative process is carried out by your community.
