CARHA Mo’ckey Movember Challenge
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives. In 2011, Movember raised over $125 million worldwide to help fund these initiatives.
As part of CARHA Hockey’s continued mission to provide health and fitness awareness and encourage a safe playing environment for our members, we are launching our First Annual CARHA Mo’ckey Movember Challenge. We are encouraging everyone to join the challenge to raise money for men’s health initiatives. CARHA Hockey has gathered some great prizes to award to different category winners! Entrants do NOT need to be CARHA Hockey members to enter this contest – so tell your friends and family to sign up!
Here’s how it works!
1. Players sign up at www.Movember.ca and register for Movember by going to http://mobro.co/CARHAMOCKEY and click on “Join My Team.”
2. The team name is “CARHA MO'CKEY MOVEMBER CHALLENGE.”
3. Fill out the information and register to start fundraising!
4. To be eligible for team prizes, please indicate which team you are a part of (minimum 5 team members must sign up to be eligible for team prizes) in their `Your Motivation`section.
5. Only players registered with the “CARHA Mo’ckey Movember Challenge” team will be eligible to win the great prizes.
6. Entrants do not need to be CARHA Hockey Members to enter!

Prize Categories
1. Most funds raised – Team category:
This prize will be awarded to the Hockey Team that raises the most funds for the CARHA Mo’ckey Movember campaign. Individuals MUST indicate which team they are a part of in their `Your Motivation`` section on their Mo Space in order to be eligible for this prize. A minimum of five (5) team members must sign up for a team to be eligible for this prize.
Prize – Customized set (maximum 17) of high-quality, numbered team jerseys for your team! (Value of up to $750)
2. Most funds raised – Individual category:
First Place Prize – Pair of Hockey Skates (Up to $600 value)
Second Place Prize – Hockey Stick (Up to $250 value)
Third Most Raised – Hockey Gloves (Up to $125 value)
3. Best Moustache Picture – This prize will be awarded to the individual who submits the best (2012 Movember) moustache picture as deemed by CARHA Hockey.
Prize – $100 Gift card to your favourite restaurant along with a large duffle bag full of CARHA Hockey Swag such as fall and winter jackets, practice jersey, hat, t-shirts, hoodie, and much more! (See Rules for exact prizes).
4. Most Creative Moustache Picture – This prize will be awarded to the individual who submits the most creative (2012 Movember) moustache picture as deemed by CARHA Hockey.
Prize – CARHA Hockey Prize Pack: includes large duffle bag, fall and winter jackets, practice jersey, hat, t-shirts, hoodie, and much more! (See Rules for exact prizes).
