Recent News: The Buffalo Sabres have recently signed Rob Niedermayer, a veteran of 16 NHL seasons to a one-year contract.  Rob has played in three Stanley Cup Finals, winning the Cup in 2007 alongside his brother Scott and the Anaheim Ducks.  The 35 year-old Niedermayer has played in 109 career playoff games accumulating 39 points including 10 points in the Ducks Stanley Cup run in ’07.  A native of Cassiar, B.C., Niedermayer has 450 points (181+269) and 882 PIMs in 1,082 career games with Florida, Calgary, Anaheim and New Jersey.
