If you're a hockey player that has always wanted to take a trip overseas for our beloved sport, this is the perfect opportunity. One of CARHA Hockey's members is putting together a team to go to the Czech Republic this September to play four friendly exhibition games.

Leaving from Toronto on Friday, September 22nd, and flying overnight into Prague, you will then bus to the Czech city of Ceske Budejovice (the original home of Budweiser beer) and stay for two nights at the Maly Pivovar Hotel.  While in Ceske Budejovice, the team will play an exhibition game and do a tour of a local brewery.

Next, the trip will head north to the spa town of Karlovy Vary for two nights. While in Karlovy Vary, everyone can enjoy the thermal hot springs that are prevalent in this picturesque town. You'll also play a game against the local old-timers team.

On September 27th, it’s on to the Czech capital, Prague. Prague is the city of spires and is a terrific place to enjoy some Czech culture.  In Prague, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Czech Hockey Hall of Fame and learn more about the hockey stars of the Czech Republic.  In Prague, the team will play two games against local old-timers.

The group will learn more about the local culture with guided city tours in Cesky Krumlov, Karlovy Vary and Prague.

On Saturday, September 30th, the trip will conclude with a direct flight from Prague to Toronto; scheduled to land in Toronto just after noon local time.

There are some spots still available for interested players, ages ranging from 30 to 60 years old and some of us are bringing our spouses - all are welcome.
